Opera singers learn how to control their breathing in order to catch our breath. I agree with the other less-than-optimistic reviews that the opening scene is a bad example of lip-syncing, especially since I couldn’t see Jolie breathing! La Callas certainly had a glamorous life, but I felt like the focus was too much on the visuals in this film. This is a film that made me stop watching until the end, and I’m sorry about that. I also had high hopes for these two famous women. “One Hundred Years of Solitude” is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month. Check out our December calendar for more!
